These stainless clips are an excellent way to quickly connect your Stinky Stringer to you without needing to wrap or knot your stringer up. Attach it to a wading belt, tackle box, kayak, pier or anything else you want to hold your stringer. The 2.5″ clip has a swivel and large hole to easily use a carabiner, or stainless split ring to attach the clip. Simply push the clip which is spring loaded down, the clip will open and attach it behind the spike without having to slide anything through. The release is just as simple. These are custom made to fit our stringers, but may work on other brands.

Excellent product, I used last week for kayak fishing on Christmas Bay. Caught two keepers, must have been the stringer. Actually the stringer and clip worked great to hold the fish I caught.

While I have not used the stringer clip yet, it seems like a very well designed, quality product. I had tried modifying a trot line clip, but the Stinky Pants clip is so much better (and bigger, so it should be easier to use with gloves hands in cold weather).
